  • USL Wall Ball Challenge

US Lacrosse (USL) has exciting news! This summer, we have launched the US Lacrosse Wall Ball Challenge, powered by SNYPR, who have launched a first-of-its-kind fundraising app based on wall ball reps. All proceeds raised will go to USL’s First Stick Program to give sticks to new players who can’t afford them. I am asking you to “Accept the Challenge” to do 10,000 wall ball reps/throws this summer. What is the Wall Ball Challenge? It’s a 10,000-rep challenge over a 10-week period from June 13 - August 20. Players will get pledges from sponsors (a.k.a. parents!), based on the number of reps they complete. For example, if a sponsor pledges $.01 per rep, and the player completes all 10,000 reps, the amount raised is $100. Players will compete on regional and national leaderboards to see who can do the most reps and raise the most money. This is a WIN-WIN for all! The players get better by practicing wall ball while raising money to grow the game and put sticks into new players’ hands who can’t otherwise afford a new stick. It’s easy to participate: â—        Download the App. To participate, download the ‘USL Wall Ball’ app from either the App Store or Google Play. â—        Get Sponsors. Sign up parents, grandparents, neighbors, etc. to sponsor your reps. This is done right in the app, confirmed in an email to the sponsor. â—        Get an Arm Sleeve. Your player will need an arm sleeve which holds the phone on the upper right arm. You can order one online from Lax World at: You can also make a sleeve from a sock with the toe cut off. â—        Start Playing! Put the phone inside the sleeve on your upper right arm, hit “play” on the app, start playing wall ball or catch, and the app does the rest of the work counting your reps and calculating the amount raised.
